The Extras: On weekends at 1:30pm, and daily during July and August, kids can hear a story and work on an art project to take home (free with admission). Another kid favorite: Museum overnighters take place two or three times a year. Pre-registration is required for sleepovers. Call (312) 665-7400 for details and registration.
Save Money: Chicago residents get a discount on admission fees (proof of residency required). The Field Museum offers about 52 discounted days per year. Check the official website for the current schedule.
